I was born and raised in the small town of Edgerton, Wisconsin. I feel very fortunate because I lived in the same house until I left for college. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1995-1999. In 2000 I moved to Denver, Colorado with my best friend Brian. Originally from Denver, Brian introduced me to his high school friend Nathan. Eleven years later Nathan and I are still happily together! Nathan and I live with my 2 cats, Charlie and Kennedy.
I thoroughly enjoy reading, working on crafts, and spending time outdoors. In 2006 my friend Stacey taught me how to knit. You can see some of my finished objects here. In 2011 Stacey introduced me to sewing. Looks like I’m going to get hooked on another fun hobby! I love reading knitting and other crafty blogs! There is so much great inspiration out there. Please let me know if you have a cool crafty site I should check out :)
Thanks for visiting!

Hi Terrie,
I love your site and all your knitting accomplishments! Your mom, my first cousin, put me onto your site.
Thanks for some new sites for knitting or crocheting for me to look at.
I am just learning this computer thing and what and how to do it.
How do you like the circular needles?
I have so many and just can’t seem to get the hang of them.
Love, Hugs and Prayers,
Barb
Addicted to knitting blogs… I know so many, so little time. Now with Ravelry, where to find time for actual knitting ;-) What types of books do you read? I like biographies. Have a great week,
Monica
Nice to meet you! I don’t know too many people who knit these days. My mom did a lot of it once upon a time.
I dunno…but your cats are ADORABLE. Are they still kittens, or have they grown? :-P
I know exactly what you mean…I spend so much time looking for patterns and at beautiful yarns that I then don’t have the time to actually knit anything! I look forward to reading about more of your projects!
