Girly Bag

I still need to add 3 more inches to this, but here’s the progress of my Girly Bag:

Girly Bag

I have to make a 2nd side just like this, and then I do a 3 needle bind off. I have no idea how to do this, so I hope someone in my knitting group can help me…Leanne? :)

I finally finished my OSW, but I wasn’t able to get the pictures uploaded yesterday. Hopefully I’ll get that post up tomorrow!

I plan on getting a lot of knitting done next week, because I’ll be on vacation!!! :) Nathan & I will be spending the first few days of the week together, and then he’s off to Alaska for a fishing trip! He’s going with his brothers and their stepdad, so on Saturday Nathan’s mom, sister-in-law and I are going to the spa and then out to lunch :)

I have to do a bit of cleaning and a couple things with my car, but I’m looking forward to being able to just knit and relax.

 Have a good weekend, everyone!

  1. Three Needle Bindof is simple simple. Ask me on Saturday. You will love the way it makes your finished product look…

Enjoy your wonderful Vacation next week!!

  2. Maybe after Nathan takes off on Wednesday…you and I can get together and watch some movies and knit?! There are a couple fun 80’s movies that I’ve been dying to watch lately. Would you be up for a little Breakfast Club/Pretty in Pink/Sixteen Candles watchin’?

  3. Okay, on the little three needle bind off thing…in case you haven’t already done it…I thought I would mention to you that it is really easy to use a crochet hook instead of the third needle to do the bind off. You probably don’t know what the heck I am talking about but I can show you some time if you want.
