I have been making a lot of cards lately and wanted to share the ones I made for Easter.
I won this stamp set from Lawn Fawn, and I’m glad I decided to buy the coordinating dies as well. They are just the cutest characters for Easter, and Spring in general.
After watching this video by Jennifer McGuire, I decided to use colored pencils and gamsol to color the characters. I still need to practice my coloring, but I like how these came out.
Then I cut them out using my Sizzix Big Shot.
They look so cute all cut out!
I used the sentiments from the stamp set and added the little flowers to the inside.
I cut the egg shape with my Silhouette Cameo and then embossed the panel with the Big Shot. I think they turned out so cute! Thanks for this adorable stamp set, Lawn Fawn!
…Happy Easter! I hope you all had a wonderful day!
THE EASTER FEELING…
The Easter feeling does not end.
It signals a new beginning,
Of nature, spring, and brand new life,
And friendship, peace, and giving.
The spirit of Easter is all about
Hope, love, and joyful living.
I hope you are all able to enjoy this beautiful spring day with your family and friends! Happy Easter :)
Wishing you a very happy Easter! I hope you got lots of yummy candy in your basket and are able to enjoy the day with your family and friends!
Heifer International is running a “Hatch Hope” campaign for Easter. I like how this organization works. Gifting livestock and training to a family in need empowers them to turn their lives of hunger and poverty into self-reliance and hope.
